Following last month's debut in Paris as a concept, the Citroën C1 Urban Ride has been photographed while being transported on a trailer.

When Citroën introduced the C1 Urban Ride concept at the beginning of October in Paris they didn't say anything about whether the vehicle will reach production but now it seems that will happen as a member of the Worldscoop forum has posted an image with the vehicle on a trailer sitting in front of the regular C1.

As expected, it looks virtually the same as the concept and is essentially a more rugged-looking version of the standard C1. We do notice the absence of a retractable cloth roof as the car spotted had a fixed metal roof but both versions will likely be available. It will directly compete with the Opel/Vauxhall Adam Rocks and chances Citroën will sell it with just about the same array of engines as in the C1.

Likely going on sale in the months to come, the Citroën C1 Urban Ride will probably cost a little bit more than the equivalent C1.
