The Japanese company Mitsuoka has released their last special edition for the Orochi sports car, dubbed the Orochi Evangelion Edition.

Earlier this year the manufacturer announced plans to end production of the Orochi in September. Apparently, this will happen not before the last special modification of the model is launched. The Evangelion Edition is supposed to celebrate the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series and will be built in a series of eleven examples, all of them featuring a special paint job.

Power is still provided by a Toyota-sourced 3.3-liter V6 engine that develops 233 PS (172 kW) and 328 Nm (242 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The model is available at ¥14,814,815 (137,000 USD / 109,000 EUR) at the 7-Eleven stores in Japan.
