Following yesterday's reveal, Ford has released additional photos and videos with the Shelby GT350 Mustang.
After a long-lasting series of spy shots and teasers, the Shelby GT350 has finally been introduced as the new range-topping Mustang version easily distinguishable thanks to its beefier appearance. It also received a unique set of 19-inch alloys with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires along with enlarged Brembo brakes.
The highlight of the model is a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 engine equipped with a flat-plane crankshaft and delivering 500+ bhp (373 kW) & 542+ Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. It will be sold as standard with a Torsen limited slip differential and a six-speed manual transmission while the transmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler will cost extra as part of the optional Track Pack.
In one of the videos below we take a better look at the interior cabin boasting Recaro sport seats, different gauges and a MyTouch Ford infotainment system featuring an eight-inch touchscreen display. Also on the menu are leather-wrapped electric seats, dual-zone climate control and an integrated drive control system with five modes to tweak some of the car’s settings like traction control, throttle mapping and others.
The Shelby GT350 Mustang is scheduled to go on sale sometime next year as a 2016MY.
