A Universal Studios representative has announced they are considering at least three more movies for the long-lasting Fast and Furious franchise.

Furious 7 isn't even out yet but already Universal Studios through the voice of chairman Donna Langley is contemplating on the idea of at least three sequels. Chances are it will all depend on the success of the seventh movie set to air on April 3, 2015. There are some rumors these movies will be directed by Justin Lin who was in charge of The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast and Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011) and Fast & Furious 6 (2013).

If green-lighted, the movies will introduce new characters while Paul Walker (who played Brian O'Conner) "will always be an integral part of the story." She describes Fast and Furious as a growing franchise which still has profit potential but Donna admits they have to be careful to avoid "fatigue" since after all there are already six movies out and the seventh one is coming in 2015.
