Following the teaser image and the fully revealing spy photos from last week, the Qoros 3 City SUV has been officially introduced.

The sporty crossover is based on the 3 Hatch and is scheduled for a debut during the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. The model will be launched in China in the first half of 2015.

In terms of design, the 3 City SUV features a familiar look with black plastic wheel arches and door panels, as well as an increased ground clearance. At the back we noticed an aluminum bumper extension with quad exhaust pipes integrated.

Inside the cabin, the interior is similar to Qoros 3 Hatch and comes with optional leather seats, automatic air conditioning, infotainment system with a touch-sensitive display and rear parking camera. Earlier, the Chinese company said the vehicle will also offer a more “commanding” driving position.

As reported before, the model will be powered by a 1.6-liter engine in modifications with 124 bhp (92 kW) and 154 bhp (115 kW). It will be offered with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic.
