Ken Block and Honnigan Racing have unveiled their insane Honnicorn RTR at SEMA.
Described as the "batsh!t retro-modern all-wheel drive Gymkhana Seven Ford Mustang," the Honnicorn RTR was built by ASD Motorsports and is based on a 1965 Mustang. It features a tubular chassis, carbon fiber body panels and 18-inch Fifteen52 wheels with Pirelli Trofeo R tires.
Power is provided by a 410 cubic inch (6.7-liter) Roush Yates V8 engine that develops 845 bhp (630 kW) and 720 lb-ft (975 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed transmission and a one-off Sadev all-wheel drive system.
According to Block, "This is a project that I've been working on for two years, so to see it fully come to fruition and be able to drive it for Gymkhana Seven was absolutely amazing." He went on to say "The attention to detail with the fabrication and bodywork blows my mind. This is hands-down the best Gymkhana car I've had yet."
