Hyundai has introduced no less than five concepts this week in Las Vegas during the 2014 SEMA show.

The first of the bunch is ARK Performance's AR550 Genesis which was previewed at the end of September. It comes with an aero body kit from Infinite Auto Design and has also gained a front strut reinforcement bar and front/rear stiffened sway bars. The aftermarket package also contains an air suspension, larger front and rear Brembo brake and a Rotrex supercharger for the V8 5.0-liter engine which has bumped output to 550 bhp (410 kW).

Up next is the JP Edition Sonata initially shown online last month, a project developed by John Pangilinan which featuers 19-inch RAYS wheels with Toyo tires, a wider sporty body kit, unique LED headlights and a MagnaFlow exhaust system. It has also received an AEM cold air intake, Recaro seats and an Alpine audio system.

As for the Hyundai Bisimoto Engineering Sonata, this is a heavily modified race-spec one-off of the standard car which comes with a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine developing a massive 708 bhp (528 kW) thanks mostly to a Turbonetics turbocharger. The additional power was also possible by installing an AEM Infinity 6 ECU and a Magnafuel 750 fuel pump, along with a Spearco intercooler and a Golden Eagle intake manifold.

The Hyundai Blood Type Racing Genesis Coupe is equipped with a Precision Turbo turbocharger, custom intake and intercooler, bespoke full exhaust kit and nitrous injection, as well as with strengthened and fully balanced internal components. All these upgrades have allowed the engine to develop an amazing 1,000 bhp (746 kW) at the crank. The vehicle also has an aggressive wide body kit which includes among others a rear diffuser and a GT wing to increase downforce.

Last but not least, the Toca Signature Edition Genesis uses the V8 5.0-liter engine which has received a Garrett twin-turbo setup as well as an ARK Performance exhaust system which together have boosted output to 600 bhp (447 kW). Inside the cabin there are custom black leather-wrapped seats featuring contrasting white stitching and there's also a Rockford Fosgate sound system and several carbon fiber trim panels.
