The first live images depicting the 2015 BMW X6 M have hit the web ahead of the model's proper unveiling set for L.A. Auto Show later this month.

BMW introduced online its second generation X6 M at the end of October and now a test vehicle looking virtually identical to the production model was photographed in the center of Munich, Germany. The high-performance SAV wears a Mineral White body paint combined with black alloy wheels which together certainly make the car stand out from the crowd.

Faster around the 'Ring than the defunct M3 Coupe E92, BMW's newest X6 M kicks off at $103,050 in United States and packs a beefy V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine rated at 567 bhp (423 kW) and an enormous 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). All that power is channeled to both axles through an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox which allows the model to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in a mere 4.2 seconds before topping out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h).

Scheduled to be exhibited this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2015 BMW X6 M will effectively go on sale next spring.
