The recently introduced BMW X6 M has been digitally envisioned as a convertible model by X-Tomi.
The Hungarian designer has used one of the press photos depicting the high-performance SUV to create a two-door convertible. The idea strongly reminds us of the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet that is set to be axed after the 2014 model year. Having in mind the Japanese convertible-SUV never had good sales, a similar model from BMW seems highly unlikely.
The standard X6 M benefits from a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 567 bhp (423 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque and is mated to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. Starting at $103,050 (82,444 EUR), the model will be available in the USA from the spring of 2015.
