Chevrolet has a history of giving the World Series MVP an all-new truck and last night the company called on Rikk Wilde to give Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner the keys to a 2015 Colorado.

Unfortunately, thing didn't go according to plan as Wilde was obviously uncomfortable in the spotlight and flubbed his lines. The end result was cringeworthy but gave birth to classic lines such as "Um, it combines class winning, err leading um, you know, technology and stuff."

Shorty after the botched handover, Wilde become an instant celebrity as Twitter lit up with the #ChevyGuy hashtag. This helped to turn the marketing disaster into a success as the story has been covered by various other news outlets which has bought at lot of attention to the 2015 Colorado. Even Chevrolet is embracing the hoopla as the landing page for the Colorado now says "You know you want a truck, #TechnologyAndStuff."
