SEAT Chairman Jürgen Stackmann has revealed the company could offer as many as three different crossovers.

Speaking to Autocar, Stackmann said the company is considering additional crossovers and one of them could be an entry-level model that would compete with the Renault Captur and Opel / Vauxhall Mokka. It will reportedly be based on the Ibiza and could be launched as early as 2017. Unfortunately, it appears the model could be front-wheel drive only.

At the other end of the spectrum, Stackmann revealed a "big SUV is potentially a yes for us but we have to make sure that customers want it."

The two aforementioned crossovers would join the company's Leon-based crossover which will ride on the MQB platform and be launched in 2016.
