According to a recent report, Lexus executives have confirmed plans to offer a GS F and RC F Convertible.

Citing an unidentified source, Autoguide is reporting executives made the announcement at the company's national dealer meeting in Los Angeles.

There's no word on specifications or a launch date but our spies have already caught the GS F on numerous occasions. It features an aggressive front fascia with a prominent spindle grille and larger air intakes. The sedan also has lightweight alloy wheels, a rear diffuser and a distinctive four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Power will likely be provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces approximately 500 bhp (373 kW) and 400 lb-ft (541 Nm) of torque. This should enable the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 170 mph (273 km/h).

The RC F, on the other, should use a slightly less power 5.0-liter V8 engine with 467 bhp (348 kW) and 389 lb-ft (526 Nm) of torque.
