Hyundai has come up with some pretty wacky ideas for personal mobility in the past and the trend continues as the company has unveiled four new concepts at the IDEA Festival in South Korea.

First up, the Carry U is essentially a piece of luggage that transforms into a scooter. Hyundai didn't have much to say about the model but they consider it the ideal vehicle for traveling short distances.

The Length and Width concept is far more radical as it has a tubular chassis and two individual seats. However, the real coup de grace is its ability to adjust its height and width on the fly.

The oddly named Golden Time Rescue is also a tad bizarre as it's a single seater with adjustable tires. Hyundai says this makes it a great vehicle for rescue missions in any type of terrain.

Last but not least, the Car-Meleon is billed as a cost-efficient vehicle that can transform into a sedan, truck or RV.
