Holden has introduced the limited edition Barina Trio.

Based on the Barina Hatch CD, the Trio adds an assortment of equipment including fog lights, an electric sunroof and Trio badging. The model also features a MyLink infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen display.

Only 450 units will be built this year and Holden says the $1,000 Trio pack adds more than $2,000 worth of equipment.

In a statement, Holden Marketing Director Bill Mott said “The Barina is already an exciting, energetic and appealing small car but with the ‘Trio’ pack we dial up the fun a little more.” He added, “The introduction of MyLink gives drivers a wealth of technology at their fingertips, and will allow them to experience a premium feature, without the premium price.”
