German coachbuilder Binz has released a stretched six-door conversion for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift.

It was back in May 2010 when Binz stretched the E-Class (W212) by adding two rear doors and now they are back with a similar transformation for the facelifted model. It has been elongated by 1110mm to 5979mm and the wheelbase has grown from 2873mm to 3985mm and depending on the middle and rear seat configuration it can be had in either six or eight-passenger versions.

Moreover, the coachbuilder can install consoles between the middle and rear seats along with a multi-zone climate control system for all three rows of seats. Binz is offering the six-door E-Class in E220, E250 CDI, E350 4MATIC and E500 versions. Compared to the equivalent standard E-Class, the weight of the vehicle has increased by less than 250 kg (551 lbs) thanks to the use of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
