X-Tomi Design has virtually envisioned a pickup version of the current BMW M4.
Here we have one more crazy idea for a pickup based on a BMW model. Back in April Prior Design presented its virtual pickup conversation for the M6 Coupe, while the previous M3 received a similar treatment for 2011 April Fools' Day. The Bavarian brand actually produced the car which we saw drifting in October last year.
We remind you that the M4 is powered by an inline-six TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter engine delivering 431 HP (317 kW) and a maximum torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft), so a pickup based on the model sounds like a pretty cool idea.
Currently the fastest ute is the Holden HSV Maloo R8, but rumors suggest the company is plotting a special edition GTS Maloo set to become the quickest vehicle in its class ever. Power will reportedly come from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine taken from the HSV GTS Sedan where it delivers 580 bhp (433 kW) and 738 Nm (545 lb-ft) of torque.
