An advertising company from Russia slapped ads containing breasts on trucks, causing no less than 517 accidents in a single day.
The ad which contains the words "they attract" was put on 30 trucks on the streets of Moscow and in only one day a whopping 517 accidents occurred as a result of distracted driving. Organized by a local agency specialized in mobile adverts, the ad came to an abrupt end after the police in Russia's capital gathered all trucks and impounded them, saying these will be released only after the ads are peeled off.
A spokesman for AdvTruck.ru said "we wanted to draw attention to this new format with this campaign" but obviously the plan backfired. He went on to specify all car owners who were involved in accidents caused by distraction will be compensated beyond what the insurance policy won't cover.
