James Glickenhaus has released more details about the SCG 003 set to come out in 2015.

Less than a week ago Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus released another teaser clip for the SCG 003 and now company founder James Glickenhaus told Jalopnik some preliminary details about the powertrain options. The road-going version is going to be equipped with a twin-turbo V12 engine while the race variant - named SCG 003 Competizione - will be powered by a twin-turbo V6.

The car will have a modular architecture and will take part at Le Mans in the Garage 56 classification and will also compete in the SPX Class for the 2015 VLM/24H Nürburgring Championship. The road-going version will be officially unveiled March next year at the Geneva Motor Show where it will bring its carbon fiber chassis wrapped around in a body styled by former Pininfarina designer Goran Popovic in collaboration with Paolo Garella, chief of Pininfarina's Special Projects.

James Glickenhaus says that at an additional cost, the owner of a road-going SCG 003 will be able to convert it to the race variant and vice versa, with a conversion kit to be showcased in Geneva.
