Latvian specialty marque Dartz has released the first teaser image for its next model – the Black Shark, scheduled for a 19 October debut.

The vehicle is based on the Mercedes-Benz GL63 and features Kevlar-titanium body, a retina scanner, fingerprint recognition and disappearing door handles with electric shock device. Most of the options can be controlled through a Vertu smartphone that comes with the machine and allows the driver to also check the condition of the vehicle and the tyre pressure.

The Black Shark will powered by either a V8 engine (from GL63 AMG) or a V12 engine (from GL65 AMG) that can be “tuned to 1,500 bhp (1,119 kW) at the owner's request”.

Further details about the tank-like SUV will be released on 19 October.
