German tuner DD Customs has developed an aftermarket package for the BMW X6 M.
After working on the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and Chevrolet Camaro SS earlier this year, DD Customs focused its attention towards the BMW X6 M which has received a wide body kit developed by Hamann. Several carbon fiber parts have been added such as the hood and exterior mirror caps while the stock wheels were replaced with a massive 22-inch set wrapped around in Continental Sport Contact 5P tires. Other changes include huge dual exhaust tips, new taillights, glossy rear diffuser, extended side skirts and bigger mudguards.
The high-performance SAV also comes with underfloor lightning projecting the BMW logo which reminds of the 2-Series Convertible that can be optionally configured with a similar feature. Photos of the interior have not been provided but DD Customs says the cabin has received carbon fiber and leather packages from Hamann, together with entrance and pedal lighting and other minor tweaks.
Power of the V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine has remained the same at 555 HP (408 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) which is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.7 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
