A prototype of the 2015 Seat Leon ST Cupra has been spied undergoing testing near the Nürburgring.

Seat didn't bring the Leon ST Cupra to Paris which means the hot wagon is still undergoing testing ahead of a possible reveal March next year at the Geneva Motor Show. Seen here is a prototype without any camouflage heading to the Nürburgring wearing a more aggressive body which mirrors the hatchback variant. The vehicle was equipped with 18-inch white alloy wheels matched with a lowered sports suspension, red brake calipers and it also had a dual exhaust system and LED headlights.

Seat will install the same turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the three- and five-door Leon Cupra hatchbacks, with output standing at 265 HP (195 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). There's also going to be a higher specification Cupra 280 derivative with 280 HP (206 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft), an aerodynamic body kit and larger 19-inch rims.

Chances are the Leon ST Cupra 280 will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in about 5.8 or 5.9 seconds when equipped with the optional DSG transmission since the slightly lighter three-door Leon SC Cupra 280 does it in 5.7 seconds.
