Rolls-Royce has introduced the Phantom Metropolitan Collection limited edition at the Paris Motor Show.

Several months ago Rolls-Royce launched the Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection and now they have another product called Metropolitan Collection developed through their high-end bespoke customization program. This latest iteration of the Phantom will be built in a limited series of 20 units and all will pay homage to the great metropolises of the world through marquetry which refers to inlaying small pieces of wood veneer to form decorative motifs.

On the picnic table there are no less than 500 individual wood veneer pieces showing an elevated view of the city, a job that requires several days to complete while closing the tables provides a different view of the city. The vehicle also comes with an array of individual wood veneers carefully selected and there's also a unique Aetherius Grey leather hue together with 6,800 two-tone stitches on the central rear seat flutes which show an abstract image of a skyscraper.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Metropolitan Collection comes with a bespoke clock extending the theme to the front of the vehicle and on the central console there is a rotating bezel expressing 24 cites of the world. On the outside it has a Darkest Tungsten paint and a hand-applied coachline representing the abstract silhouette of modern skyscrapers.
