Through these two spy images we get a sneak peek at Nissan's upcoming hot Pulsar Nismo set to premiere later this week at the Paris Motor Show.

It was only several months ago when Nissan came out with the all-new Pulsar and it seems they are already prepared to introduce the hotter Nismo version which has been presented to select journalists several days ago. Our agile spy photographers managed to take a couple of shots with an undisguised pre-production unit showing a different front bumper with larger air intakes, a red spoiler lip, different LED daytime running lights, beefier brakes and larger alloy wheels.

The more aggressive styling will be matched with a rumored 266 bhp (198 kW) output coming from a four-cylinder 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine which is also believed to power the forthcoming Qashqai Nismo. With the Pulsar Nismo, Nissan is aiming for the Nürburgring FWD crown which currently belongs to the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy-R with a time of 7 minutes and 54.36 seconds.

The hot hatchback is believed to go on sale in the second half of 2015 so the Paris show car could turn out to be a near-production concept serving as a taste of what's to come, just like Honda is doing with the updated Civic Type R concept.
