A Porsche 918 Spyder was consumed by fire yesterday at a gas station in Canada.
At the beginning of July we saw the LaFerrari showing signs of being fire prone and now the Porsche 918 Spyder has decided not to be outdone by its Italian rival. One of the 918 units produced by Porsche is now nothing more than melted metal and aluminum as the hybrid supercar caught fire at an Esso gas station in city of Caledon, Ontario, Canada.
The cause of the incident is not known at this moment but taking into account the fire occurred at a gas station, maybe there was something wrong with the fueling equipment so it might not have been the car's fault. Regardless of the cause, the fire caused extensive damages and it's highly unlikely this Porsche 918 Spyder will ever roam the streets again.
