Chevrolet has unveiled the Silverado Toughnology concept.

Designed to highlight the truck's use of high-strength steel, the concept has a unique paint job that "mimics the look of raw, unpainted steel." The truck also has a black hood, a mesh grille insert and "steel molecule" body side graphics. Elsewhere, there's tinted headlights, tubular side steps, extended fender flares and 22-inch alloy wheels.

There doesn't appear to be any interior changes but the truck comes nicely equipped with heated leather seats, a rear-seat entertainment system, an inductive smartphone charger and OnStar 4G LTE with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.

Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V8 engine which has been equipped with a "performance" air intake and a sports exhaust system. This enables the engine produces 355 bhp (265 kW) and 383 lb-ft (519 Nm) of torque.
