Following yesterday's configurator screenshots, we now get a best look at the open-top Ferrari 458 Speciale which as you can see will look virtually the same as its fixed roof sibling. The photos were taken in Maranello at Ferrari's factory showing most likely a pre-production car with the roof in position.

The 458 Spider Speciale (name not confirmed) was wearing a Giallo Modena paint complemented by a black & white stripes package on the front and at the back. It had the standard forged 20-inch rims matched with black brake calipers along with a more aggressive and aerodynamic body as seen on the 458 Speciale.

Power comes from the coupe's uprated V8 4.5-liter engine developing 605 HP (445 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque which should grant a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than 3.4 seconds and a 199+ mph (320+ km/h) top speed.

A public debut is likely scheduled for October 2 during the first press day of the Paris Motor Show so an online reveal could occur later this week.
