Lamborghini recently announced plans to introduce a mysterious car at the Paris Motor Show and a new report is indicating it will be called the Asterion.

While nothing is official, Lamborghini filed a trademark application for the Asterion name on July 31st with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market. The company followed up filing a "figurative" application for a styled version of the name on September 15th.

Interestingly, the latter application shows the Asterion logo has a lightning bolt in the "O". This suggests the car uses a hybridized powertrain but nothing is official as of yet.

The mysterious model will be unveiled on October 2nd, so stay tuned for full details.
