Despite the full body camouflage, we can clearly see the new Koleos will look a lot better in just about every way compared to the oddball current generation. A 2016 launch has already been confirmed by Renault Australia managing director Justin Hocevar and chances are the model will use the same CMF platform as the latest Nissan X-Trail.

The new model will lose the boxy appearance in order to get a crossover look but with some MPV influences from the new Espace. Renault will make the new Koleos bigger in order to better differentiate it from the smaller Captur crossover.

Interestingly, sources in France are saying this isn't the new Koleos as they suggest it's a new crossover set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015 with the Racoon nameplate as a reference to Renault's namesake concept from 1993. The same sources are indicating the all-new Koleos will be a lot bigger than the aforementioned Racoon.
