Opel has officially introduced the production Adam S, set to be fully unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
Following a near production model, revealed back in March in Geneva, the Adam S comes with a full aerodynamic body kit, lowered suspension and ten new color schemes.
The model features a 1.4-liter petrol turbo unit with 150 PS (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. The power is transferred to the front axle through a six-speed manual gearbox. This enables the hot hatch to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.5 seconds. Top speed is rated at 220 km/h (137 mph).
Opel’s OPC performance division has also equipped the vehicle with a new braking system and standard 17-inch wheels or optional 18-inch wheels with 225/35 tires.
The pocket rocket will be available for sale from November this year. Prices will be announced during the official premiere in Paris.
