The 2015 / 2016 Chevrolet Captiva has been spied undergoing testing in Europe.

While the model is nearly eight years old, it appears the crossover will only be getting a minor facelift to bring it closer in line with new models such as the Trax. As a result, the only noticeable change is a new front fascia and a revised grille.

Since this is only a minor refreshing, we shouldn't expect too many other changes. This means engine options could carryover and include:

  • A 2.2-liter diesel with outputs of 163 PS (120 kW) and 184 PS (135 kW)
  • A 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol with 167 PS (123 kW) and 230 Nm (169 lb-ft) of torque
  • A 3.0-liter V6 with 258 PS (190 kW) and 288 Nm (212 lb-ft) of torque
