The all-new Renault Espace has been spied both inside and out ahead of an already confirmed reveal at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The full-size MPV is conducting final testing and in this latest round of spy images we get a better view of the interior cabin which features a large touchscreen display as seen on the Initiale Paris concept from last year's Frankfurt Motor Show. The Espace's shape clearly echoes the concept, thus replacing the boxy shape of the outgoing model with a modern and fresh design rarely seen in this segment.
The fifth generation Espace will be Renault's first model to receive the range-topping Initiale Paris trim and will ride on a newly developed CFM1 modular platform. Little else is known about the large people carrier but it will likely be powered exclusively by turbocharged four-cylinder engines and will be available with LED headlights and taillights but probably only on the upper-spec versions.
An official reveal is scheduled for October 2 during the first press day of the Paris Motor Show.
