Aston Martin has released a teaser video for a special Vanquish set to be unveiled on Wednesday.

About a month ago Aston Martin introduced the 2015 Vanquish with a new ZF-developed 8-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission and now they are teasing a special version. If you pause the attached clip at the 0:07 mark you'll notice the chemical symbol for carbon ("C") along with its atomic mass (12.011) so most likely the Vanquish is getting a "Carbon Edition."

It follows a similar version of the DB9 unveiled earlier this year at the New York Auto Show so expect an assortment of carbon fiber bits and pieces inside and out but without any mechanical upgrades. Power will likely come from the same V12 6.0-liter engine which in the 2015 model year generates 568 bhp (424 kW), representing a minor 3 bhp (2 kW) increase over its predecessor.

The Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition (name not confirmed) will probably receive its public debut early October at the Paris Motor Show.
