The Mercedes-AMG GT has returned in yet another teaser video prior to a confirmed September 9 reveal.

We are less than two days away from the official online unveiling of the highly anticipated Mercedes-AMG GT and thanks to a long series of teasers we know almost everything about the first model to be powered by a newly developed M178 engine. It's a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter motor set to produce 462 PS (340 kW) in the base model and 510 PS (375 kW) in the AMG GT-S. The same engine will also be installed the upcoming C63 AMG where it will likely have a different output.

Smaller, lighter and cheaper than the SLS AMG, the GT will need 3.8 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in the S version which will be capable of hitting a top speed of 192 mph (310 km/h). Mercedes-Benz and AMG are saying the vehicle will have "insane acceleration" combined with "go-kart handling" all wrapped around in the "purest possible design" that aims to be on par with the stunning 300SL Gullwing. Most of the car's design has already been shown in screenshots of the upcoming PS4 videogame Driveclub while the interior cabin was previewed back in April and photographed towards the end of July.

In the attached video below you can see the Mercedes-AMG GT going flat out at Bonneville Salt Flats. The entire video will be released on Tuesday when the car will be revealed in full.
