Gray Design is back with the Vapour GT project which will soon be featured in a video game.

Over the years, Gray Design impressed us with its heavily detailed renders and now they have returned with a new project called "Vapour GT" envisioned with a carbon fiber body built around a chassis sourced from the Caterham SP/300.R racer. The angular design features a significant amount of sculpted edges in the same vein as the Lamborghini Egoista but with an open-top two-seater configuration.

The virtual concept was envisioned with a curb weight of less than 900 kg (1,984 lbs) and a theoretical 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in less than 3.2 seconds thanks to a 2.0-liter supercharged Ford Duratec engine which in the SP/300.R develops almost 300 bhp (224 kW).

Although it appears to be nothing more than a radical styling exercise, Gray Design says that "in the rare event that an order is placed", a team of engineers who worked on the Bugatti Veyron will actually build the car. Until then, the Vapour GT will be featured in a video game that will be released on Android and iOS platforms.
