Previewed by the stunning Initiale Paris concept, the fifth generation large MPV will be unveiled on October 2 during the first press day of the Paris show. The all-new Espace will ride on the CFM1 modular platform and will be the first Renault to be offered in the upscale Initiale Paris trim which will also be implemented on future models wearing the diamond logo. Engine lineup will probably encompass a variety of economical turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines.

Renault has also announced that its budget sub-brand Dacia will introduce rugged-looking Stepway versions of the Lodgy and Dokker, following a similar derivative of the Sandero hatchback. Details have not been provided but these will likely have additional plastic body cladding, a slightly increased suspension setup and larger alloy wheels.
