Cadillac is taking the fight to BMW and Mercedes as our spies have caught the 2016 CTS-V undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.

Set to battle the M5 and E63 AMG, the high-performance Caddy has aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes. The model also has a front lip spoiler, a revised grille and a ventilated hood which is carefully camouflaged. Moving further back, the CTS-V is distinguished by a trunk-mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Power will likely be provided by the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that recently debuted in the Corvette Z06. While it produces 650 bhp (485 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque in the Corvette, speculation suggests it will be detuned for use in the CTS-V.
