Novitec Tridente has unveiled their new tuning program for the Maserati Quattroporte.
Starting with the range-topping Quattroporte GTS, the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine can be tuned to produce 605 PS (445 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 75 PS (55 kW) and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft). Thanks to the extra oomph, the sedan can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 318 km/h (197 mph).
The Quattroporte S hasn't been left out either as owners can order an auxiliary control unit which enables the engine to produce 476 PS (350 kW) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 66 PS (49 kW) and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft). Detailed performance specifications were not released but Novitec Tridente said models equipped with all-wheel drive can run from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Even diesel owners can get in on the fun as the 3.0-liter unit can be tuned to produce 322 PS (237 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 47 PS (35 kW) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft). This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.
Besides the performance upgrades, Novitec Tridente offers a variety of carbon fiber parts including a front spoiler and aerodynamic side skirts. Customers can also order a sport-tuned suspension and 22-inch alloy wheels.
