Jaguar has released a teaser video for the 2015 XE S set to be unveiled online on September 8.

Only the XE S will be revealed as the rest of the 2015 XE lineup is going to be showcased at the beginning of October during the Paris Motor Show. We already know 75 percent of the baby Jag's body structure will be made of aluminum which will enable a lower curb weight and also increased torsional stiffness.

The most frugal variant will consume less than 4 liters / 100 km (75 mpg UK or 62.4 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km. There will also be a range-topping version capable of doing more than 186 mph (300 km/h). It's most likely the rumored XE SVR due to come out early 2016 with a 489 bhp supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine.

It will also be the first Jaguar to use a newly developed infotainment system called "InControl" equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen display. It offers full smartphone connectivity, Wi-Fi hotspot support, remote door lock/unlock as well as the possibility to pre-set the climate control system.

Another novelty is the implementation of a laser head-up display promising to offer "sharp, high-contrast color images into driver’s line of sight, safely and intuitively conveying vital vehicle, road and navigation information."

The 2015 XE will be assembled at a new production facility situated within Jaguar's Solihull factory in United Kingdom.
