A camouflaged 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback prototype was spied undergoing testing in Germany around the Nürburgring.

This latest spy video shows Audi is still testing its long-awaited RS3 which as you can see will be offered in the five-door Sportback guise, but a sedan version (previewed by the A3 clubsport quattro concept) is also possible. Regardless of its body style, the RS3 will once again have a five-cylinder 2.5-liter TFSI engine working with a quattro system and a DSG.

It's programmed to go on sale next year with an output of around 360 bhp (268 kW), according to Quattro GmbH Managing Director Heinz Hollerweger. Interestingly, a 400 bhp (298 kW) is also being analyzed but a final decision is still pending. Although chances are slim, some rumors are indicating the availability of a manual transmission, but nowadays this seems to be a dying breed among performance cars.
