Chevrolet has unveiled the Niva concept at the Moscow Motor Show.

Designed to preview the next-generation model, the Niva has a rugged exterior with a winch, snorkel and auxiliary lights. The model also has a lifted suspension, a roof rack and BFGoodrich off-road tires.

Chevrolet didn't have much to say about the interior but we can see the model features a familiar steering wheel, off-road gauges and plenty of metallic trim.

Motivation is provided by a 1.8-liter engine that is connected to a five-speed transmission. It is apparently sends power to ground via a locking differential and an all-wheel drive system.
