A mysterious Mercedes AMG GT was recently spied on the Nürburgring and now our spies have just caught the model up close.

While initial speculation suggested the car was a Black Series variant, we're more inclined to believe it has been equipped with an aerodynamic styling package. We cannot confirm this but Mercedes has previously offered an aerodynamic package on the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe.

Regardless of what it is, the model appears to have a revised front bumper, a lowered sports suspension and a fixed rear wing.

Under the hood, we can expect a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 510 PS (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a dual-clutch transmission which could enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of approximately 312 km/h (194 mph).
