There is still a large amount of camoflage hiding many of the styling elements, however the design was previewed at the Geneva Motor Show in March with the introduction of the XLV Concept. There will also be a further preview at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show in October with the unveiling of another new styling concept.

Newly developed Euro 6 emissions compliant four-cylinder 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines will be available. They will be coupled with the standard six-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed CVT.

The SsangYong X100 will initially launch with a five seats at the end of this year or early next year before it is joined with a long wheel base version with seven seats.
