Skoda has released two additional teasers for the third generation Fabia likely to be unveiled online next week.

We've lost count of the number of teasers released by Skoda in the last few days but hopefully we are getting closer to a full reveal of the Czech supermini which will be offered in hatchback and wagon body styles. There won't be an RS version while the evolved PQ25 platform will enable a weight loss of up to 65 kg (143 lbs).

All engines will meet the stricter Euro 6 emissions and on average the fuel consumption will decrease by 17 percent. Four gasoline motors will be on offer, kicking off with a three-cylinder 1.0-liter MPI rated at 60 PS (44 kW) while at the other end of the range will be a 4-cylinder 1.2-liter TSI delivering 110 PS (81 kW).

A 1.4 TDI direct-injection common-rail diesel will be available with 75 PS (55 kW) and 105 PS (77 kW). Towards the end of 2015 there will be a Fabia GreenLine with the 75 PS 1.4 TDI engine along with low-rolling resistance tires, start/stop, aerodynamic optimizations and kinetic energy recuperation which will allow the frugal Fabia to consume just 3.1 liters / 100 km (75.8 mpg US or 91.1 mpg UK) with 82 g/km of CO2 emissions.

Look for an online reveal sometime next week while a public debut will occur in October at the Paris Motor Show. Since production is rumored to commence at the end of August, sales of the third generation Fabia will probably kick off shortly after the auto show in France.
