Jaguar has announced plans to introduce the US-spec F-Type Project 7 at Pebble Beach.

Originally unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the F-Type Project 7 is a limited edition model that will be built by the company's Special Vehicle Operations division. It is heavily influenced by the F-Type Project 7 concept and will be available in five colors: British Racing Green, Caldera Red, Glacier White, Ultra Blue and Ultimate Black.

Power is provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 575 PS (423 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed Quickshift transmission which enables the roadster to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

The F-Type Project 7 will be priced from $165,925 and the first deliveries are slated for the spring of 2015.
