A Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 participated in a track event organized at Circuit Park Zandvoort in The Netherlands.

When Mercedes-Benz was developing the six-wheeled G63 AMG they surely weren't thinking about how fast it could go around a corner and with a 3,850 kg curb weight, it certainly wasn't created to take down lap records. Nevertheless, someone thought it would be a good idea to take the G-Class behemoth around the track and see how it performs.

Seeing such a huge vehicle being driven around the Zandvoort track is a rarity taking into account only 20-30 years are built each year for those willing to pay a starting price of 456,900 EUR. The three-axle G63 AMG is powered by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 delivering 544 PS (400 kW) & 758 Nm (560 lb-ft) and if that's not enough, Mansory can upgrade the engine to no less than 840 PS (618 kW) and an electronically-limited 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft).

With the recent obsession of Nürburgring lap times, don't be too surprised if Mercedes-Benz will label the G63 AMG 6x6 as the quickest six-wheeled vehicle around the 'Ring.
