Lexus Executive Vice President Mark Templin has revealed the company could eventually build an LFA successor.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Templin said "[Toyota President] Akio [Toyoda] believes that every generation deserves to have a car like an LFA, so we’re building an LFA for the generation we have today." He went on to say "At some point, there may be another special car for another generation."
Toyota spokesman Brian Lyons followed up on Templin's statement by saying an LFA successor isn't imminent about could be 30 years off.
While an LFA successor might be years away, Lexus Europe Vice President Alain Uyttenhoven recently said the company will build a production version of the LF-LC concept. However, Templin declined to confirm or deny the news.
