Work started on the six-cylinder 3.0-liter turbodiesel which in the standard version generates 313 PS (230 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. A performance kit was installed which has bumped output to 375 PS (276 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft). The significant power gains have probably lowered the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time to less than five seconds taking into account the stock X4 xDrive35d needs 5.2 seconds.

A set of 21-inch lightweight concave wheels was also installed and matched with 255/35 R21 front & 295/30 R21 Continental Sport Contact 5P high-performance tires. As a final touch, Manhart's engineers also brought the X4 crossover closer to the road by 35mm thanks to a suspension lowering package.

Power boosts are also offered for the xDrive20i, xDrive28i and xDrive35i, with the latter generating 370 PS (272 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) whereas the series variant has 306 PS (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).
