WCF friend and collaborator Marchettino had the privilege to ride shotgun in Horacio Pagani's Huayra and Porsche Carrera GT.

He was part of the convoy participating in this year's Pagani Vanishing Point annual meet for Pagani owners and sat on the passenger seat of Horacio's own Huayra and Porsche Carrera GT. A Ford GT and Zonda F were also part of the convoy and both of them were from Horacio’s personal car collection.

Recently he was seen behind the wheel of a special McLaren P1 by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), possibly for benchmarking purposes since Pagani is currently working on a Huayra Nürburgring Edition featuring more power wrapped around in a lighter package.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Horacio Pagani's past, he worked for Lamborghini in the 80s and during that period he was head of Countach Evoluzione concept development. He attempted to convince Lamborghini to purchase an autoclave for extending carbon components for the concept but the Italian marque refused. Horacio then borrowed the necessary funds (and mortgaged his house) to purchase an autoclave in late 1987 while a year later Lamborghini used his autoclave for the carbon fiber parts installed in the Countach 25th Anniversary Edition.

He started working on a full carbon-bodied car but Lamborghini axed the project so he decided to leave, founding Pagani Automobili S.p.A in 1992.
