An Audi dealer from Beijing created a pick-up conversion for a locally-made A6L.
The donor vehicle was a previous generation A6L (C6) built in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. It should be mentioned the original car was involved in a heavy crash and this conversion is new from the B-pillars backwards.
The Audi dealer decided to save what was left from the wreck and created a two-door pickup truck with flashy yellow finishes and R8-styled 17-inch alloy wheels shod in Michelin tires. Other features worth mentioning include a raised suspension, front and rear parking sensors, xenon headlights with washer and a dual exhaust system with chrome tailpipes.
You can ignore the V10 and RS6 badges because under the hood is a more humble 4-cylinder 2.0 TFSI with 170 bhp (127 kW) delivered to the front wheels which grants the pickup truck with a 112 mph (180 km/h) top speed although it will be hard to reach it taking into account the A6L is not road legal.
