Lamborghini has released a teaser video for the track-only Huracan Super Trofeo.
The car's design remains hidden under the army camouflage but we can still see there's a much wider body kit with a huge rear wing and an aggressive diffuser. Other changes include vented fenders, carbon fiber front splitter, racing sliks with black wheels and an interior cabin stripped out of unnecessary weight which features a safety roll cage.
Set to replace the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, Lamborghini's new Huracan LP 610-4 Super Trofeo will retain the same V10 5.2-liter engine with 610 PS (448 kW) taken from the road-going car and will take part in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series in 2015. Gallardo Super Trofeo owners will still have the possibility to use their cars but the two types of vehicles will compete in different classes.
Lamborghini has announced the Huracan Super Trofeo will be unveiled on August 15 at The Quail in Monterey, California.
